CRADLE OF FILTH

Cradle of Filth son una banda de symphonic black metal de Suffolk, Reino Unido, formada en 1991. Que han sido adoptados y repudiados con igual fervor por varias comunidades de «metal».

El estilo musical de la banda evolucionó del Black Metal hacia una amalgama más limpia y mejor «producida» de gothic metal, symphonic black metal y otros estilos de metal extremo, mientras que sus temas líricos e imágenes son grandemente influenciados por la literatura gótica, la poesía, la mitología y películas de terror. La banda ha librado exitosamente su nicho al cortejar los medios informativos populares (a menudo a costa de sus fanáticos), y esto ha traído consigo un aumento en cobertura por revistas como Kerrang! y MTV, frecuentes apariciones en el escenario de los principales festivales como lo son Ozzfest, Download e incluso el Sziget Festival, aunado a una imagen más «comercial». Algunas veces han sido percibidos como satánicos, aunque sus referencias al satanismo son pocas y distantes, y el uso de imágenes satánicas sin duda siempre ha tenido más que ver con crear una fuerte impresion que con sus creencias. Según la revista Metal Hammer, son las banda de «metal» británica con mayor exito desde Iron Maiden.

Ya había escuchado antes a este grupo, no está mal; aunque sinceramente, canciones como éstas no me llaman mucho la atención, ya que el timbre de voz no es precisamente de mis favoritos. Por ejemplo de esa canción, me gusta más la voz del minuto 1:32 que la que se oye en el resto de la cación. Pero en verdad el grupo no está nada mal.
¿Cuál es tu opinión personal, Apolyon?

Me gustan mucho .... junto con Stravaganzza son de mis favoritos, en gran parte porque canto parecidos a ellos. Han cambiado mucho en los últimos años, quizás el FROM THE CRADLE TO THE SLAVE sea el mejor trabajo junto NYMPHETAMINE y A GHOST IN THE FOG ... se han vuelto algo comerciales y cada dia son más borricos, pero que quieres que te diga, son de lo mejorcito en las Islas Británicas.

Entonces lo más seguro es que me ponga a escucharlos de nuevo para ver cómo son esos últimos discos... Gracias.

De todas formas, al contrario que a ti Haydee, su manera de cantar me encanta, posiblemente porque nunca llegare a cantar asi xD lo de romperme la voz no puedo xD
Nympthetamine y Her ghost in the fog fueron las primeras canciones que escuche de ellos *O* y la verdad que si, se han vuelto mas comerciales, pero aun asi son la leche xD (y con eso me quedo corta... xD )
